About us
The impetus of Stereo grew out of a collaborative studio of designers working in architecture, graphic, and product design. Years ago we began throwing around furniture designs between other projects and built up quite the collection of concepts and ideas. At some point, we decided we could no longer let these ideas exist as merely models and drawings. We had to build them, and honestly, we had to share them.
Stereo is now using our multidisciplinary talents and efforts in design to accomplish one simple goal—to make compelling, accessible furniture that you want to live with and make sure that everybody knows about it.
process We design every piece, choose every material and refine every detail in our studio through a careful process of chaotic collaboration. It is a labor of love and we have a lot of fun doing it.

At Stereo we believe that furniture has the capacity to become an active character within its environment. In both form and function, pieces are meant to be loved, used, pushed around, looked at, and admired. To be in it, on it, around it, and with it. Each piece in our line is designed to share this same philosophy. When you invite our furniture into your favorite spaces we consider it a significant part of our collaborative creative process.
